Roman Catholicism

The oldest continuing institution in the world able to trace its historical roots back to early Christianity, the Roman Catholic Church nevertheless ceased long ago to be a true Christian Church. At the Council of Trent it anathematized the gospel and all those who believe or teach it. While Vatican II appeared to liberalize this church, it nonetheless specifically reaffirmed the Canons of the Council of Trent, and remains today as opposed as ever to the true biblical gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in and because of Christ alone, and according to the Bible alone.
